Beast-E-Mode!?
You know Oneway Lilman always has dope bikes, and this one is out of this world. There’s a lot going on here, so here’s the breakdown:
Frame & Fork
This bike started life as a gold SE Beastmode Ripper. The frame was modified, stripped, and powder coated along with the forks and handlebars in a color called cotton candy blue sparkle.
Wheels
The wheels were disassembled, stripped, and powder coated illusion blueberry. The spokes were powder coated cotton candy blue sparkle. The rear Onyx hub is anodized dark blue and the SE hub was disassembled and anodized to match. The spoke nipples were all done in an anodized blue. The rear hub has a blue 19-tooth titanium Boone Technologies cog with blue anodized spacers. The front wheel has a blue Hope 203mm floating rotor, and the rear has a blue Hope 183mm floating rotor. Both are held on by blue titanium bolts. The tires are SE 27.5” x 3.0” Beastmode tires with blue anodized aluminum valve caps. The rear wheel uses a custom anodized blue derailleur hanger that also functions as an axle block to keep the wheel centered. The non-drive side also uses a custom anodized blue axle block. The rear wheel is held on by upgraded 12.9 hardened steel bolts for strength. The front wheel is held on by blue Billet BMX axle nuts. The rear wheel also has a Tannus tube liner.
Brakes
The brakes are blue and silver Hope Tech 4 V4 brakes with upgraded braided white Jagwire housing. Both front and rear brakes have e-bike specific brake pads, and both levers have blue brake grips on them. The front and rear brake adapters were powder coated cotton candy blue sparkle to match the frame and fork. The brake and adapters are mounted with blue steel bolts for strength.
More Parts
The stock SE pegs have been modified to clear the chain tensioner and then stripped and powder coated illusion blueberry. The blue Tanke chain tensioner has upgraded pulleys with ceramic bearings and all titanium hardware. The seatpost was stripped and powder coated illusion blueberry and the steel bolts were replaced with titanium. The seat was changed to an SE “Raise it up” seat. The SE seat clamp was stripped and anodized blue to match, and the steel bolts were replaced with titanium. The stock SE headset was powder coated illusion blueberry along with the headset spacers. The SE stem was stripped and powder coated illusion blueberry, and the steel hardware was replaced with titanium. The grips are ODI Rogue v2.1 lock-on grips with upgraded blue titanium bolts.
Motor & Battery
The motor is a Bafang BBSHD that has been completely taken apart. The drive cover was powder coated cotton candy blue sparkle, and the motor was rebuilt with upgraded internal gears, titanium bolts, and better grease. A custom in-house tune was programmed into the controller for maximum power and torque. The motor also received a custom dress-up kit with white braided wire housing. The motor is programmed to run at 1500+ watts and 160nm of torque. The motor mounting plate was stripped and powder coated cotton candy blue sparkle to match the frame. The battery was custom made to Lilman’s specifications by Powerful Lithium USA and is 52v and 24.5ah The battery bag and handlebar bag were custom-made with special materials and embroidered to match the rest of the bike. The display is an Eggrider, the throttle is Bafang, and we added a white braided kit to the Eggrider display.
Drivetrain
The chainring is a Lekkie 42 tooth offset chainring that was stripped and powder coated illusion blueberry. The 165mm Lekkie crank arms were stripped and powder coated cotton candy blue sparkle. The stock SE pedals were disassembled, stripped, and then powder coated in illusion blueberry. The chain is a gold Connex 9 speed e-bike chain.
