In 2015, SE Director Todd Lyons found out that Chuck D from Public Enemy wanted to do a collab with SE Bikes. As a lifelong Public Enemy fan, Todd was beyond stoked to make this project happen.

The launch of the Public Enemy Big Ripper in 2016 coincided with a Public Enemy concert in Brooklyn, so it made perfect sense for Todd, Dblocks, and hundreds of riders to ride all the way from Harlem through Manhattan on the way to the show. Of course, things got a little wild on the ride, and the following week Todd received a strongly-worded letter from the NYPD instructing him to NEVER do that again!
